The Southern Institute
on Children and Families is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded through
grants and contributions. By making a financial contribution to the Southern
Institute you are helping us continue to improve opportunities for families and
children. There are three different options to contribute to the Southern
Institute, all of which are tax deductible.

In 2005 the Southern
Institute Board of Directors established
The Unita Blackwell Fund for Southern
Childrensm to honor civil rights
pioneer Unita Blackwell for 13 years of service as Chairman of the Southern
Institute Board of Directors. Blackwell’s
strong belief that all children should have the opportunity for good health,
quality education, safety and economic
security led to a lifetime of work dedicated to providing brighter futures for
families and children throughout the South.
